Square Master has arrived to the PocketPC!

If you've mastered traditional block-sliding puzzles, you may be ready for Square Master. The goal of the game is to move the big red-dotted square to the bottom-center position. It seems deceptively simple, but the minimum number of moves to win is 126 (in the most difficult level). To move the pieces, you simply drag-n-drop them around or click on a piece's edge and it will slide.

Be forewarned, it's highly addictive and very challenging. This is an excellent logic exercise for players of all levels.

Selectable Difficulty

You can select the difficulty level from very easy (requiring a minimum of 10 moves to solve) to very difficult (requiring a minimum of 126 moves to solve). The game contains over 50,000 different starting layouts, randomly selected based on the difficulty setting. This means the game will remain challenging forever.

Artificial Intelligence

If you run into trouble, you can use the game's artificial intelligence to offer hints, or to solve the puzzle completely from the current position. It uses advanced AI principles such as "branch and binding" and "node scoring". (The solution is only available once registered.)

.NET Compact Framework

The entire program was written for Microsoft's new .NET Compact Framework, which means it will work on all PocketPC variants, regardless of the manufacturer. You simply need to install the free .NET Compact Framework 1.0 redistributable before installing the game.
